We're seeking fullstack engineers with proven senior-level experience and a passion for working with AI in the SDLC to join the Equal Experts network. As a member of the team you will work alongside our clients to help design and deliver solutions to meet business requirements and help to improve the effectiveness of the clients' software delivery capability. And of course, all this happens in a consultative, collaborative fashion - in keeping with . You should have extensive experience delivering software on commercial projects backed up by extensive knowledge of agile practices such as TDD, pair programming and CI/CD to name a few. A growth-based, learning mindset is a must coupled with a passion for technology. This role involves working in teams that use modern agile technical practices - including continuous integration and deployment and fast feedback loops - to deliver timely and pragmatic solutions, as well as helping others to do their jobs in a more effective way. The Opportunity We're seeking Senior-level Full Stack Engineers with a strong software engineering background and proven experience introducing AI-assisted and automation-enhanced practices that improve delivery flow, quality, and team performance. You'll work with client teams to improve how they build software using approaches like Spec-Driven Development and Context Engineering to make delivery faster and clearer. You'll help teams adopt these practices, shape how they collaborate, and apply AI pragmatically where it shortens feedback loops and improves flow. You'll do this in keeping with our values: collaboratively, transparently, and with a focus on creating lasting impact. Responsibilities Deliver robust, maintainable software solutions: Build and operate distributed backend systems using modern languages, frameworks, and agile practices (TDD, CI/CD, pair programming). Support AI-assisted and automated workflows: Implement CI/CD optimizations, test automation, and intelligent quality monitoring to improve feedback and flow, and also aim to speed up delivery. Mentor and coach: Transfer Software skills, build AI literacy, and help client teams adopt reflective and discerning AI practices. Required Skills Extensive, diversified experience developing, maintaining, and operating enterprise-scale distributed systems. Expert-level knowledge of at least one modern backend programming language and framework. Strong grounding in agile engineering practices: TDD, pair programming, CI/CD, and continuous feedback. Solid experience using AI within the SDLC is preferred, but we are equally open to your enthusiasm and eagerness to learn while working in new contexts. Familiarity with approaches and ideas such as context engineering and Spec-Driven Development Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) and modern development pipelines. Strong communication skills, including the ability to communicate effectively while working remotely with globally distributed teams. Nice to Have Experience building or evolving microservice architectures and RESTful APIs. Hands-on experience operating large-scale, production-grade systems in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Experience with AI-enhanced delivery metrics or developer experience tooling.
