Senior FullStack Engineer - Remote in Latam

As we continue our high-growth journey, we are looking for a motivated and experienced Senior FullStack Engineer to join our growing remote Tech Team in LATAM, where you'll play a key role in building and scaling our core product.

Team members: 12 Software Engineers, 3 AQA Engineers, 6 MQA Engineers, QA Lead, 2 UI/UX Designers, 3 Product Managers, Head of Product, and CTO

Team structure: The team is split between 4 groups: Oppizi Ads (PMF team), Expansion (adapting new technology to new countries), Core (legacy technology), Wild Duck (innovation team)

Work experience: 5+ years as a Senior Developer / Full-stack Engineer or relevant role

Our developers work on challenging projects to innovate our platform and benefit our customers and partners. You will contribute to a large-scale, complex product and see the real-time impact of your work on hundreds of thousands of users worldwide. The position is remote.

We conduct daily retrospective stand-ups to discuss progress. Since we are remote and distributed between Australia and Ukraine, maintaining good communication is essential.

You will work with various environments, including Web Platform, API, and Mobile App.

Responsibilities

• Use modern technologies and implement efficient, reliable solutions
• Collaborate with PM and other teams to meet product and technical needs
• Participate in improvements and tuning of existing solutions
• Build testable code and write unit/integration tests
• Share expertise with teammates
• Manage build, release, and configuration (Git)
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues across environments
• Ensure code quality and standard compliance
• Develop and own best practices for provisioning, scaling, and monitoring
• Partner with QA, Operations, and Product teams to improve delivery quality and speed
• Provide technical guidance during design reviews
• Report on code quality and coverage analytics
• Coordinate system upgrades and enhancements
• Apply agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban, Jira)
• Manage JIRA/Confluence workflows and documentation
• Maintain and improve our platform built with React.js (front-end), Node.js (back-end)
• Maintain and improve our React Native iOS and Android apps
• Design and implement new features, systems, and integrations
• Deliver projects on time with high quality
• Write tests and improve build processes
• Take ownership of the app, seeking improvements in effectiveness, reliability, and cost
• Solve problems at scale
• Share knowledge and contribute to best practices

Basic Requirements

• 4+ years of experience with Node.js
• 4+ years of experience with React
• 5+ years in web development
• Experience with MongoDB and MySQL
• Upper Intermediate English or higher

• Experience with TypeScript
• AWS infrastructure experience
• Knowledge of TDD principles and testing experience
• Understanding microservice architecture
