Senior Frontend Engineer
A leading digital travel platform - serving millions of users and undergoing rapid national and international expansion - is looking for a Senior Web Engineer to join their team.

What They're Looking For
They're searching for a seasoned Web Engineer who thrives on working with modern front-end and back-end technologies in a high-traffic, consumer-facing environment. If you bring strong computer science fundamentals and enjoy working across the stack (with a heavier focus on front end), this could be the perfect opportunity.
You'll be joining one of several cross-functional feature teams, working closely with full-stack developers, designers, QA testers, and product owners.
What You'll Be Doing
- Build and evolve core user-facing features using React.js, TypeScript, and Next.js
- Contribute to backend services using Node.js
- Play a key role in improving front-end performance, design systems, and user experience
- Shape best practices for engineering across the website team
- Collaborate within a Kanban-like workflow, contributing to design and technical decisions
- Support the drive for innovation by contributing to R&D (10% of your time is allocated to exploration)
Key Requirements
- 5+ years of experience working with TypeScript and React.js
- Strong experience in Node.js backend development
- Familiarity with Next.js, PostgreSQL, and cloud platforms (esp. GCP)
- Practical knowledge of DevOps, especially with Terraform
- Excellent understanding of web fundamentals: CDNs, CMSs, analytics, performance, and security
- Degree in Computer Science (ideally Master's level)
Bonus Points For
- Experience building or scaling high-traffic websites
- Familiarity with design systems, test automation, A/B testing, and user tracking
- Experience working in the travel, booking, or hospitality sector
- Contributions to the open-source community
