Senior Frontend Engineer - Belfast (Hybrid)

MCS Group is working exclusively with a global financial services organisation building out their engineering team in Belfast. We're looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to help deliver business-critical platforms used across international markets.

You'll work closely with architects and principal engineers, owning the design and build of modern React/TypeScript applications. The role involves mentoring others, driving best practice, and contributing to high-quality, scalable UI development in an Agile environment.

Key experience:

• Strong React, TypeScript and modern JavaScript
• Building scalable, maintainable UI components
• Automated testing (Cypress, Selenium or similar)
• Performance optimisation and web security awareness
• Ability to mentor and influence engineering standards

Bonus: Figma, Storybook, AWS, or financial services experience.
