Are you an experienced Client Account Manager, Senior Administrator or Client Services professional within financial planning looking for a role where you can genuinely make an impact?

I'm working with a highly respected, award-winning financial planning firm in London that is looking to appoint a Senior Financial Planning Administrator/Team Leader to support two senior advisers while helping lead and develop a small client support team.

This is far more than a traditional administration role.

You'll be the person who keeps everything moving, ensuring exceptional service for a portfolio of high-value clients while acting as a mentor and role model to colleagues around you. If you enjoy taking ownership, solving problems, building strong relationships and leading from the front, this could be the ideal next step.

The Opportunity

This is a true "player-coach" position where you'll combine hands-on client support with team leadership responsibilities.

You'll:

Provide senior administrative and client support to two experienced Financial Advisers

Build trusted relationships with clients and act as a key point of contact

Manage complex and sensitive cases with professionalism and empathy

Lead, mentor and develop a small team of Client Account Managers

Run team meetings, support performance reviews and identify development opportunities

Ensure workflows, deadlines and client commitments are delivered efficiently

Drive continuous improvements to processes, systems and client experience

Work closely with advisers to deliver an exceptional end-to-end client journey

What We're Looking For

  • 4+ years' experience within an IFA, Financial Planning or Wealth Management environment
  • Strong knowledge of pensions, investments and protection products
  • Experience supporting advisers and managing client relationships
  • Previous mentoring, supervisory or leadership experience would be highly beneficial
  • Excellent organisational skills with a proactive approach
  • Strong understanding of FCA regulations and industry processes
  • Someone who takes ownership, enjoys helping others develop and thrives in a client-focused environment

Why Consider This Opportunity?

This business has built an outstanding reputation within the financial planning profession and continues to grow. You'll join a collaborative team where client experience genuinely comes first, and where there is a real focus on developing people and promoting from within.

For someone who enjoys combining exceptional client service with leadership responsibilities, this is a fantastic opportunity to take the next step in their career.
