Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate the CRiSP Team, proactively targeting criminal assets using POCA Civil Recovery in Summary Proceedings powers.
• Expand the existing capability to identify and deny criminal assets.
• Supervise a team of Financial Investigators, dealing with both complex and high volume civil investigations.
• Travel to attend court, meetings and operations across the region, including Gatwick airport.
• Work closely with key partners within SE ROCU and externally, including Border Force and Immigration, to support seizure operations at South East Ports.
• Provide on call arrangements for immediate response across the South East region as required.

Qualifications

• Strong background and accreditation as a Financial Investigator.
• High degree of understanding of illicit finances, money laundering and strong analytical skills.
• Excellent team leadership with the ability to develop and mentor staff.
• Full UK driving licence.
• Completed SC security vetting and maintained enhanced security checks; must have resided in the UK for the past five years.
