CAPEX Manager - Global Scope Hybrid Work Model

Marks Sattin is proud to partner with a leading global organization in the life sciences sector to recruit a highly skilled CAPEX Manager. This is a unique opportunity to take on a strategic role within a global Project Management Office (PMO), supporting large-scale capital investment initiatives across multiple continents.

About the Role

As CAPEX Manager, you will be responsible for leading the global budgeting and cost control processes for the Large Capital Projects (LCP) department. You will play a key role in ensuring financial transparency, operational efficiency, and the development of project control capabilities across a diverse and international project portfolio.

Key Responsibilities

• Drive financial planning, budgeting, and cost control for global capital projects
• Monitor and report on financial performance, providing insights to senior leadership
• Support the PMO in aligning operations with strategic goals and best practices
• Develop and implement tools and processes to enhance project governance
• Lead training and coaching initiatives to strengthen project control competencies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, engineering, and project leads

What We're Looking For

• 10+ years of experience in financial controlling (essential)
• Strong background in managing CapEx projects ranging from €10M to €100M (preferred)
• Proven ability to operate in global, matrixed, and multicultural environments
• Excellent analytical and communication skills
• Fluency in English, both written and spoken
• A proactive, structured, and results-driven mindset

Work Model

Hybrid, with preferred locations including Delft, Maastricht, Barcelona, Geneva, Princeton, Mumbai, and Shanghai.
