Senior Finance Manager

KennedyPearce are hiring a 6 month contractor for a Senior Finance Manager- Project role based in London. This role will be 2-3 days in the office and could involve some travel in Europe. You will assist in the onboarding of the newly acquired company, helping the finance teams to transition to financial reporting standards under IFRS. A primary focus will be adapting to the monthly close reporting schedule and the transition of current local and consolidated accounts to reporting requirements.

Key tasks for completion

• Transition of the opening balance sheet migration
• Ensuring the recording of purchase accounting entries and changes in accounting policy are tracked and implemented
• Working with the operational finance teams and Global Finance Operations leads to implement process changes

Key Skills

• Qualified Accountant with experience in group reporting and month end close reporting
• Experience in the transition of balance sheet migrations
• Experience in periodic close accounting and working within month end close timetables
• Hands on accounting experience
• Project management skills in working to deadlines

£75000 - £80000 per annum + plus bonus, benefits and hybrid working
