Job Description
Work where work matters.

We are a global technology group built for what's next, offering high calibre professionals the platform for high stakes work, the kind of work that defines an entire career. When you join us, you're not just taking on projects, you're solving problems that don't even have answers yet.

You will join an exclusive roster of talent that global leaders, including Google, Snap, Diageo, PayPal, and Jaguar Land Rover call when deadlines seem impossible, when others have already tried and failed, and when the solution absolutely has to work.

Forget routine consultancy. You will operate where technology, design, and human behaviour meet to deliver tangible outcomes, fast. This is work that leaves a mark, work you'll be proud to tell your friends about.

We are looking for a Senior Finance Business Partner to act as a strategic advisor to business leaders, driving performance through financial insight, forward-looking analysis, and commercial decision support.

We look for people who embody:

Innovation to solve the hardest problems.

Accountability for every result.

Integrity always.

About The Role

Strategic & Commercial Partnership

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to business leaders, challenging constructively and influencing decision-making.
  • Participate in leadership and operational meetings, providing insight that shapes strategy, resource allocation, and performance outcomes.
  • Translate financial data into practical, commercial actions that drive margin, utilisation, and profitability.
  • Hold business owners accountable for agreed targets and ensure performance gaps are addressed promptly.

Actuals Review, Forecasting & Outlook Management

  • Review monthly results with stakeholders, explaining variances, performance drivers, and operational implications.
  • Provide strategic insight and challenge to improve forecast accuracy and business understanding.
  • Lead rolling forecasts and outlook updates, identifying risks, opportunities, and required mitigations.
  • Strengthen ownership of financial outcomes across the business by promoting responsibility and proactive planning.

Budgeting & Long-Term Planning

  • Lead the annual budgeting cycle for relevant business units, ensuring alignment to strategy and commercial priorities.
  • Build or oversee detailed cost, revenue, headcount, and operational budgets.
  • Challenge assumptions to ensure plans are realistic, stretching, and financially robust.
  • Support medium- and long-term (3-5 year) planning exercises, modelling future performance and market scenarios.

Business Cases, Investment Spend & Capital Allocation

  • Develop and evaluate business cases for new markets, products, services, or operational initiatives.
  • Deliver ROI analysis, scenario modelling, and commercial recommendations that guide investment decisions.
  • Assess capital allocation proposals for strategic alignment, financial return, and risk exposure.
  • Support the tracking, reporting, and post-implementation review of major investments.

Performance Management & Reporting

  • Prepare clear and insightful KPI reporting, dashboards, and management information.
  • Analyse performance trends, profitability, unit economics, commercial value drivers, and productivity.
  • Identify performance issues early and partner with the business to agree corrective action plans.
  • Provide deep-dive analysis on cost efficiency, revenue quality, pricing, utilisation, and margin improvement.

Financial Modelling & Commercial Analysis

  • Build robust financial models for scenario planning, deal evaluation, cohort economics, and margin forecasting.
  • Support commercial teams on tenders, SOW reviews (excluding revenue booking), and large contract evaluations.
  • Conduct sensitivity analysis to identify risks and assess potential outcomes.

Stakeholder Engagement & Communication

  • Build strong, influential relationships with senior stakeholders across operations, delivery, commercial, HR, and product.
  • Present financial insights in a clear, engaging, business-friendly manner.
  • Improve financial literacy across the organisation through coaching, explanation, and transparent communication.

Collaboration With Central Finance

  • Work closely with the wider finance team; Controllership and Financial Operations, to ensure accuracy, alignment, and compliance.
  • This role does not perform revenue booking or revenue recognition. Instead, it leverages information from these teams to assess performance, challenge leaders, and support planning.
  • Support continuous improvement of financial processes, reporting, and operational excellence across the finance function.

This role is designed for impact, and we believe our best work happens when we connect. While we operate a flexible model, we expect you to spend regular quality time on site (at our offices or a client location) for collaboration sessions, customer meetings, and internal workshops.
