Role overview

Our client, a specialist family law firm, is seeking a qualified family law solicitor with 4-6 years of post-qualification experience to join their dynamic team in the City of London. Key responsibilities

• Handling a varied & busy caseload of HNW family law matters, including divorce, financial settlements, child arrangements, cohabitation disputes, and prenuptial agreements.
• Advising clients on complex legal issues with a focus on tailored, client-centric solutions.
• Providing supervision and guidance to junior team members where appropriate.
• Engaging in business development activities, including networking, building relationships with clients and referrers, and contributing to the firm's growth.
• Demonstrating excellent organisation and document management skills to ensure efficiency and accuracy in case handling.
• Maintaining up-to-date knowledge of family law developments and applying this expertise to client matters.

Key skills and experience

• A qualified solicitor with 4-6 years PQE in family law.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and external stakeholders.
• Experience of working with High Net Worth, Ultra High Net Worth, and international clients.
• Strong technical knowledge of family law, including financial settlements and child arrangements.
• Proven ability to manage and prioritise a busy and varied caseload independently.
• Commercial awareness and experience contributing to business development initiatives.
• Strong IT proficiency.
• A proactive, flexible, and solution-focused approach to meeting client needs.
