Job Description
Senior Facilities Engineer (2 year fixed term contract) About Your New Employer

- Manage Electrical Infrastructure: Oversee the maintenance of the electrical infrastructure on site using the computerized asset management system, coordinating with the system coordinator and the on-site electrical maintenance team.
- Life Safety and Security Systems: Manage the maintenance of Life Safety (Fire Detection, Fire Suppression, and Emergency Lighting) Systems and Security Systems, coordinating with vendors and on-site maintenance teams.
- Security Access Control: Handle the day-to-day operation of the security access control system, approving all adds, moves, and deletions.
- Change Management: Manage all electrical infrastructural change requests (Power, IT, Life Safety & Security Systems) and ensure all changes are recorded on the site's computerized asset management system and site record drawings.
- Facilities Support: Support the Facilities team in maintaining asset information and assessing equipment condition annually.
- Project Management: Plan, design, and oversee the reconfiguration, maintenance, and alteration of equipment, machinery, buildings, structures, and other facilities. Coordinate with architecture/engineering firms, prepare bid sheets and contracts, and inspect construction progress.
- Degree in a relevant field
- 5+ years of relevant experience.
- Specialized knowledge in managing electrical infrastructure , Life Safety Systems, and Security Systems.
- Experience in planning, designing, and overseeing facility projects.
- Ability to communicate effectively with senior internal and external customers and vendors.
- Capability to provide guidance, coaching, and training to other employees and manage projects.
