Senior Expert Regulations & Data Protection Management (m/f/d)

As a Senior Expert Regulations & Data Protection Management (m/f/d), you will play a central role in the further development and optimisation of our company-wide management systems and data protection. Your focus will be on implementing innovative and practical solutions to make our specifications and processes efficient and effective. For Denmark, you will also be responsible for providing data protection advice and support to our branch(es) and activities in the north (Denmark). In doing so, you will be integrated into RWE's global data protection community. Your excellent communication skills will enable you to get everyone involved on board.

Your role
  • You will develop and optimise the company-wide management systems in accordance with ISO 9001, identify and address potential issues, and oversee the overarching processes and guidelines. In doing so, you will utilise risk and opportunity management.
  • You will manage and coordinate the Renewables-wide corporate governance documentation and structure and the necessary processes.
  • You will coordinate the management system community and support the specialist departments in complying with and implementing regulatory and legal requirements.
  • You will ensure correct, complete and transparent documentation for rules and process management (RegulationWeb / ProcessWeb), including supporting the specialist departments in using the IT systems employed in this context.
  • As a data protection expert, you will be closely involved with the business and will independently manage processes and provide advice on data protection issues. You will coordinate the necessary qualification measures with RWE's global data protection community.
  • You will work independently and proactively by planning and implementing projects to improve integration and governance, or other measures such as internal audits, workshops or training courses.
Your requirements and experience
  • Qualifications: You have a university degree in, for example, law, economics, natural sciences, IT or a comparable qualification, as well as sound professional experience in the field of management systems (e.g. 9001, 55001) and data protection. Ideally, you have QM certification or similar additional qualifications, as well as IAPP data protection certification or similar qualifications.
  • Expertise: You have extensive knowledge of the ISO high-level structure and other relevant standards. You have experience in data protection consulting and, ideally, have already worked as a data protection officer. You have experience in implementing and optimising database-supported management systems. You have expertise in process optimisation projects.
  • Working style: Your working style is characterised by proactivity, independent problem-solving skills and an analytical approach. You can map complex processes in systems and have an eye for continuous improvement. You deal with setbacks professionally.
  • Communication skills: You present confidently and clearly at various levels, up to management, and can convey content in a way that is appropriate for the target audience. You enjoy working with global teams and master change with commitment.
  • IT: Very good knowledge of MS Office and working with internal management systems.
  • Languages & culture: You communicate fluently in written and spoken English and can adapt to different cultures and their particularities. You enjoy working in an international team and contributing your perspective.
  • All of the following aspects are a welcome bonus: experience in working with databases and process visualisation, experience in the field of cyber security and information security. Very good IT skills, including AI technology if applicable.
