Blue Legal has partnered with a leading global law firm who are recruiting for a Senior Events Manager. In this role, you will take charge of the strategic planning and execution of events that align with both firm and client sector strategies. You will manage UK event resources, collaborating with marketing teams, to develop project plans, budgets, and timelines that ensure smooth, client-focused event delivery. Additionally, you will work closely with colleagues across different locations to share best practices and enhance operational efficiency.
The Responsibilities:
- Take overall responsibility for the delivery of events in the UK, ensuring alignment with firm and client strategies.
- Lead the planning and execution of high-impact events, coordinating with local teams to manage logistics and ensure seamless delivery.
- Oversee project plans, budgets, resource allocation, and timelines, developing contingency plans to ensure smooth event execution.
- Ensure all events comply with firm-wide policies and branding guidelines.
- Monitor event performance using key performance indicators, tracking client attendance, registration numbers, and gathering feedback to improve future event planning.
- Collaborate with marketing colleagues internationally to share best practices and enhance event efficiency.
- Work closely with teams to ensure global events and UK-based events are effectively supported.
The Candidate:
- A seasoned Senior Manager, ideally within a professional services or corporate environment, with a focus on client engagement and high-quality event delivery.
- Proven expertise in vendor management, contract negotiation, and building strategic partnerships, along with a strong track record of managing event budgets, timelines, and project plans.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to use data insights to track event KPIs, improve strategies, and troubleshoot logistical challenges effectively.
