Senior Estimator

Our client, a leading civil engineering and infrastructure contractor, is currently seeking a Senior Estimator to join their team for a contract role in the Water sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and prepare detailed estimates in line with company procedures
• Manage and mentor estimators on larger bids
• Identify risks, opportunities and value solutions
• Work with bid, planning and operational teams on methodology
• Prepare adjudication packs and present estimate assumptions
• Support negotiations and provide clear handover to delivery teams
• Maintain key estimating assumptions and feedback loops from site teams

Job Requirements:

• HNC (or higher) in engineering or related discipline
• Strong experience in water, wastewater and civil engineering
• Proven success pricing shafts, tunnels and tenders of high value
• Proficiency with estimating software (Candy preferred) and Excel
• Chartered or incorporated status (or equivalent)
• Confident communicator with strong commercial awareness
