Location: Any UK location near a Worley office

Terms: Permanent, full-time, hybrid with travel (1-2 weeks per year)

Worley Environment and Society, part of Worley Consulting, provides environmental and social services for clients in mining, energy transition, clean energy (solar, wind, hydrogen), financial, and infrastructure sectors. We work on some of the most innovative and large-scale projects globally across Europe, Middle East, and Africa, covering subsea marine and terrestrial environmental and social services.

What You Will Do:

  • Identify project opportunities, pursue, win, and deliver environmental services.
  • Manage large environmental management projects across EMEA.
  • Lead environmental and social due diligence on projects in the region.
  • Build relationships with environmental leaders and subject matter experts within client organizations.
  • Collaborate with Worley teams across locations to deliver environmental services.
  • Mentor and coach less experienced team members.
  • Scope and deliver EPR applications, manage EIAs.
  • Interface management between Worley Engineering and third-party permitting contractors.
  • Develop RFIs to support client permitting processes.
  • Conduct environmental and social due diligence according to relevant standards.

What You Will Need:

  • Bachelor's (preferably Master's) degree in Environmental Management or Engineering.
  • Minimum 10 years of relevant experience in the mining industry, managing international environmental and social impact assessments.
  • Experience with international finance institutions and lenders.
  • Knowledge of the project lifecycle, including due diligence, site selection, closure, and rehabilitation plans.
  • Extensive report writing experience (EIA, IFC PS ESIAs, ERP, RFI, etc.).
  • Proven track record in technical and project delivery.
  • Strong relationship-building and networking skills.
  • Willingness and ability to travel as needed.
