Senior Enterprise Architect

On behalf of The Ministry of Justice, we are looking for a Senior Enterprise Architect (Inside IR35) for a 12 month contract based in any of the MOJ offices (Hybrid working).

The Ministry of Justice (MoJ) priorities include improving public safety and reducing reoffending by reforming prisons, probation and youth justice, and building a justice system which makes access to justice swifter and more certain for all citizens whatever their background. Project professionals in the MoJ help to improve the government's ability to protect the public and reduce reoffending, and to provide a more effective, transparent and responsive criminal justice system for victims and the public.

SC Clearance is an essential requirement for this role, as a minimum you must be willing & eligible to undergo checks. Please note, due to the exceptional requirements of this position (short-term nature of this role and speed at which we require a postholder in situ) preference may be given to candidates who meet all of the essential criteria and hold active security clearance.

You will be joining the Justice Digital Ardoq team - a small team of 3 responsible for modelling the enterprise architecture into the MOJ. You will be required to provide the specialist expertise and direction to help build the digital model of the organisation.

Essential:
. Experienced in a range of architectural disciplines with deep skills in at least one architectural domain including, IT system or technical architecture, business architecture, solution architecture, data architecture, etc.
. Experience documenting the architecture of an organisation including the technology, people, process and other elements used to achieve the organisation's objectives.
. Ability to analyse and understand complex systems and identify dependencies between systems and components.
. Communicate effectively with senior stakeholders across an organisation.
. Able to build effective, collaborative, relationships with architects across different architectural disciplines in a complex and highly devolved organisation.
. Able to identify, document and communicate architectural risks impacting an organisation including security risks, data risks, business risks, etc.
