Senior Engineer

The Civil Engineering Services Group are seeking applications for a senior Engineer to assist with delivering a wide range and extensive programme of major highway projects, local transport projects and road safety schemes.

The ideal candidate should be qualified to a minimum equivalent of HNC in a construction related field and have some post qualification experience. We seek a motivated person with knowledge of the construction industry ideally in the highways sector.

You should hold relevant construction related qualifications and have relevant post qualification civil engineering and project management experience. An ability to translate technical knowledge into real outcomes, and communication at all levels including with the public and a wide range of stakeholders is also essential to the post. Experience of design standards, NEC contracts, site supervision, CDM regulations, cost estimating, specification/contract documentation, procurement processes, risk management and CAD are necessary to perform the duties of the post.
