Our client is a leading Construction Organisation headquartered in Cheshire. They are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Engineer to join their team in the Northwest region to work on some interesting and challenging highways projects.

What you'll be doing

As a Senior Engineer you will:

• Oversee Engineering control and implementation of works on site, including monitoring and reporting of progress.
• Maintain survey equipment including registers of equipment and testing regimes.
• Read and determine information from drawings, schedules, and specifications.
• Produce as-built drawings & records for every element of the works involved in completion of Quality Check Sheets and Handover Documentation in a timely manner in line with programme.
• Maintaining accurate records - Daily Diary, photographs, records of site discussions
• Understand Permit to Dig Systems
• Be competent in setting out techniques - ability to use level & EDM, plus GPS
• Be able to clearly communicate the requirements of a safe system of work to ensure that these are followed accurately.

• Earthworks / Drainage
• Pavement
• Structures
• Roadworks
