Senior Engineer - MKoP Integration

Locations: Derby, Warrington or Manchester, with hybrid working options available Salary: We anticipate paying a salary of between £48,000 - £62,500 DOE The role is suited to a degree qualified mechanical engineer (or equivalent) with experience who will be responsible for the design and delivery of the Rolls-Royce SMR Modularisation Systems Designs, Including but not limited to, fire analysis, through life activities, material selection, hazard studies, change control and design sprint oversight within the Modularisation team.You will be responsible for review of human factor obligations and ensure EMIT activities are integrated into site design. In addition, you will be familiar with DFMEA and provide guidance and feedback where required. You will work within a core team responsible for the delivery of a standardised modular system, performing optioneering studies to determine optimal design, manufacturing, and construction solutions in keeping with the SMR modular build philosophy. As a senior member of the team, you will be expected to guide and mentor junior engineers to help them develop their full potential. Development of design solutions for the Rolls-Royce SMR Module Systems including requirements writing and system engineering practices, fire, through Life Inspection and maintenance, materials and coatings. Delivery of work packages to process and timescales. Stakeholder engagement spanning across all sectors of the business. Design and experimental requirements creation and review.
