Senior Electrician

Here at GoFind Recruitment, we are proud to be representing a reputable and forward thinking energy solutions business based in Blackpool in their search for a Senior Electrician that has strong experience with solar PV systems to join their growing team!

Due to further large contract wins, they are looking for a skilled and experienced Electrician who will supervise junior staff members & also carry out electrical installations, testing, and maintenance.

This role involves ensuring safety and quality standards are met and supporting the delivery of electrical packages across a range of sites.

Roles & Responsibilities (But not limited to):

Oversee and carry out electrical installations in accordance with regulations.
Ensure all works are completed safely and in compliance with relevant legislation, H&S guidelines, and company procedures.
Carry out testing, inspection, fault-finding, and certification of electrical systems.
Coordinate with site managers, other trades, and subcontractors to ensure smooth workflow and project progress.
Manage ordering and stock control of electrical materials and tools.
Identify and report any issues, delays, or technical problems to management.
Maintain accurate records of work completed, including test certificates and daily logs.

Experience / Qualifications:

Minimum of 3+ years proven experience within Solar PV & battery storage.
Excellent understanding of electrical systems, installations, and regulations.
Ability to manage workload, work independently, and make on-the-spot decisions.
Good problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Confident using test equipment and reading technical plans.

_ Essential _

AM2 Certification.
18th Edition BS 7671 qualification.
NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Technology Installation.
Full UK driving license.

_ Desirable _

City & Guilds 2391 - Inspection and Testing
Solar PV Installation qualification
MCS certification
