Senior Electrical Design Engineer

NES Fircroft is currently seeking a Senior Electrical Design Engineer for a client in the oilfield services industry. The role is based in Inverurie, Aberdeenshire.

Position Details

• Type: 2-year Fixed Term Contract
• Location: Inverurie, Aberdeen
• Travel: UK & International (large-scale projects)

Key Responsibilities

1. Innovate, design, and develop customer-centric electrical solutions using advanced CAE tools.
2. Lead design projects, including cost estimates, validation, and compliance documentation, ensuring delivery within budget and specifications.
3. Provide technical support across departments and regions, including on-site installation, testing, and client meetings globally.

Candidate Requirements

• Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering
• Strong experience in electrical design within Oil & Gas
• Proficiency in CAE tools (FEA, CFD, etc.) and engineering documentation
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic, and electromechanical systems
• UK right of work
