Senior Ecologist - Planning & Biodiversity Lead (Hybrid)

Somerset Council is seeking a Senior Ecologist to provide critical ecological guidance on planning and development matters in Taunton. This permanent, full-time position includes the opportunity for hybrid working and being part of a collaborative team.

Key responsibilities include undertaking Ecological Impact Assessments and managing your own caseload while contributing positively to regional biodiversity. Strong knowledge of protected species and ecological requirements is essential for this role.

Competitive salary between £37,280 - £41,771 per annum and 30 days annual leave.
