What are we looking for?

We are seeking a proactive 8+ years delivering enterprise-grade .NET applications in microservices architectures. 100% REMOTE.

Main tasks and accountabilities will be:

Strategic Agile & DevOps Leadership

• Lead a cross-functional team in an Agile, DevOps-first environment.
• Own sprint planning, refinement, demos, and retrospectives, championing continuous improvement.

End-to-End Delivery

• Architect, implement, deploy, release, and monitor mission-critical services.
• Enforce code quality through comprehensive design reviews and pull-request governance.

Solution Architecture & Design

• Collaborate with Solution Architects to define service boundaries, APIs, and data models.
• Translate complex business requirements into robust, maintainable solutions.

Technical Mentorship & Community Building

• Evangelize best practices in TDD/BDD, automated testing, CI/CD, and infrastructure-as-code.
• Mentor engineers across teams, host brown-bags, and contribute to internal tech forums.

Standards & Automation

• Define and enforce coding standards, test coverage thresholds, and release gates.
• Drive "everything as code"-from deployments (Helm, Terraform) to monitoring configurations.

What UST expects from you?

• 8+ years delivering enterprise-grade .NET applications in microservices architectures.
• Proven track record leading distributed teams to adopt DevOps practices at scale.
• Deep mastery of .NET Core/Framework, Entity Framework, and RESTful service patterns.
• Extensive hands-on with Kubernetes orchestration, containerization (Docker), and Helm.
• Strong background in event streaming (Kafka/Avro) and relational databases (MSSQL, Oracle, PostgreSQL).
• Proficient in API-first design (OpenAPI) and UML modeling for clear system blueprints.
• Skilled at balancing performance, reliability, and maintainability in complex systems.
• Comfortable driving architectural debates and securing consensus.
• English B2+/C1
