Senior Director, Program Management Benelux (Hybrid)

Full time, Utrecht, Netherlands

The Senior Director, Program Management Benelux will manage a team of program managers, internal program managers, and support colleagues for all accounts in the Benelux. This position is responsible for achieving the company's goals related to client retention, quality service delivery, client/BCD Travel profitability, preferred vendor maximization, and technology implementation as well as program enhancement and savings generation for our clients.

As a Senior Director, Program Management Benelux, you will

• Be responsible for oversight and direction of the team including performance/activity updates with stakeholders
• Ensure multi-level strategic client relationships are being established
• Build relationships with clients and stay in regular contact (weekly) with clients
• Evaluate and study client financial statements and hold PMs accountable for client profitability
• Determine pricing strategy and develop client propositions
• Support the development of client and department budgets
• Review and make recommendations to improve the quality of client business plans
• Perform or direct personnel in recruiting, hiring, training, and separation
• Recommend the involvement of BCD Travel specialized departments to achieve client goal
• Represent BCD Travel externally at industry events

About You

• Expert in travel management company program management or a very similar business travel environment is required
• Extensive experience in management and leadership of a team and a client portfolio
• Solid skillset in working with business travel industry analytics and the related strategies
• Effective communication skills, oral, written, and presentation in English and Dutch, French language skills are a plus
• Computer literate in business software applications, and familiar with the travel industry tools
• Able and willing to travel within the Benelux 25% of the time
• Confident and experienced in working with a multinational client collection
• Confident and experienced in working with a team with different nationalities at different locations
• You have a College, Associate, or University degree or equivalent experience
