Shape the Future of CHC's Global Supply ChainWe are seeking an accomplished Senior Director, Global Supply Chain to lead a critical global function based in the UK / Ireland. This is an opportunity to shape supply chain strategy, strengthen operational resilience, and deliver measurable value across CHC's flight operations and Heli-One maintenance network.
Reporting to the SVP, Operations, you will lead CHC's end to end global supply chain for parts and materials. You will set the strategic direction for supplier partnerships, material planning, inventory optimisation, governance, and AOG support - ensuring safe, compliant, reliable, and cost effective operations worldwide. Success in this role means improving availability and supplier performance while managing cost, risk, and working capital across a complex global organisation.
Key Responsibilities What You'll Lead- Own the global supply chain strategy for aviation parts and materials, aligning priorities with operational, safety, customer, and financial objectives.
- Lead complex commercial negotiations and relationship management with OEMs, repair providers, distributors, and other strategic suppliers.
- Improve supplier performance through disciplined governance, clear measures, and continuous improvement in delivery, quality, cost, and service.
- Direct global material planning and fulfilment across CHC operating bases and Heli-One maintenance facilities.
- Optimise inventory, stocking policies, pooling arrangements, asset utilisation, and working capital while protecting operational availability.
- Establish consistent global policies, controls, and compliance standards, and strengthen supply chain risk management and AOG response.
- Lead strategic inventory sales, acquisitions, and other value creation initiatives.
- Build, develop, and inspire a high performing global team, influencing senior stakeholders across a complex matrix organisation.
This is a visible global leadership position with regular international travel to CHC operating bases, Heli-One facilities, and supplier locations. You will collaborate across regions and time zones and, when required, support urgent operational matters and aircraft on ground events outside normal business hours.
Qualifications, Skills & Attributes What You'll Bring Experience and Expertise- Extensive senior level experience in aviation or aerospace supply chain, materials management, or MRO operations, typically gained over 10 or more years.
- At least five years' leadership experience with accountability for budgets, cost centres, and team performance.
- A strong record of negotiating and managing OEM power by the hour and time and material repair agreements.
- Sound knowledge of ATA specifications, Part 145 operations, aviation materials management, and rotable pooling economics.
- Proven ability to use data and commercial insight to improve availability, cost, working capital, and supplier performance.
- CSCP (ASCM), CPSM (ISM), or an equivalent professional qualification is advantageous.
- Commercial judgement and confidence leading high value negotiations and supplier relationships.
- An enterprise mindset that balances safety, compliance, operational availability, customer outcomes, cost, and risk.
- Strong matrix leadership, stakeholder engagement, and the ability to influence at executive level.
- Clear, decisive communication and a high level of ownership and accountability.
- A track record of leading organisational change, standardisation, continuous improvement, and capability development across global teams.
You must have the legal right to work in the country where you will be employed and be able to meet any clearance requirements relevant to the position.
