What we are looking for
  • Proven experience in digital brand design, with a strong portfolio showcasing web, social, and digital-first brand work.
  • Expert knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, XD, After Effects), Figma, and other relevant design tools.
  • Proficient in UX/UI principles, wireframing, and prototyping for web and mobile.
  • Strong understanding of typography, layout, colour psychology, and digital design principles.
  • Experience designing for social media platforms, understanding platform-specific requirements and trends.
  • Ability to produce pitch decks, branding projects, and creative concepts for digital, print, and motion.
  • Excellent copywriting and proofing skills, with attention to detail and process ownership.
  • Organised, proactive, and able to prioritise work with minimal supervision.
  • Advantageous: proficiency with AI tools such as Midjourney and Copilot
What you'll need to do

As Senior Digital Brand Designer, you will be pivotal in delivering innovative, high-quality design solutions for web, social media, and digital platforms. You'll own the design process from concept to completion, championing digital-first brand creation and ensuring every output is visually impactful, strategically aligned, and future-ready. You'll collaborate closely with the Creative Director, Art Director, and wider team, mentoring junior creatives and helping shape the digital direction of Cavendish's clients.

Your key responsibilities will include:

Digital Brand Leadership

  • Leading the design and development of digital-first brand identities, ensuring consistency and excellence across web, social, and emerging platforms.
  • Translating brand strategy into compelling visual systems optimised for digital environments.
  • Championing best practice in digital design, staying ahead of trends and platform innovations.

Design Execution

  • Delivering high-quality creative assets for websites, social media, campaigns, and digital experiences.
  • Producing wireframes, prototypes, and final designs, balancing creativity with technical feasibility.
  • Ensuring all work meets accessibility standards and is optimised for performance across devices.
  • Working closely with the Creative Director to set the creative direction for digital projects.
  • Mentoring and supporting junior designers, providing feedback and fostering a culture of learning and innovation.
  • Collaborating with developers, content creators, and account teams to deliver integrated solutions.
  • Confidently presenting ideas and proposals to clients, articulating the value of digital-first design.
