As a Senior DevOps Engineer, your responsibilities (but not limited to);

At least with 5+ years of DevOps/SRE experience, you will lead cloud infrastructure design on GCP, ensuring scalability, security, and efficiency.

Expert-level proficiency with GCP that includes advanced services (GKE, Cloud Run Services, VPC networking, IAM, Cloud Armor, API Gateways) and cost optimisation strategies.

Develop and optimise Terraform modules, creating consistent, automated deployments across multiple environments.

Build advanced CI/CD pipelines with Bitbucket, introducing canary deployments and rollback strategies to ensure safe releases.

Implement observability at scale, leveraging GCP monitoring and predictive analytics to detect issues before they impact users.

Champion automation and GitOps, driving "Everything-as-Code" practices across the organisation.

Advanced knowledge of database administration (SQL/NoSQL), caching technologies, and data pipeline optimisation in cloud-native environments

Enforce security and compliance, ensuring global standards like PCI-DSS, PCI-PIN, and PCI-P2PE are seamlessly integrated into infrastructure and deployments.

Collaborate across teams, mentoring engineers, improving workflows, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement.

You'll work with a cutting-edge stack that includes:

Google Cloud Platform (GCP): GKE, Cloud Run, VPC networking, IAM, Cloud Armor, API Gateways, and cost optimisation strategies.

Kubernetes: advanced cluster management, service mesh implementation, and performance tuning.

Terraform: building reusable enterprise-grade modules, remote state management, and automated provisioning patterns.

Bitbucket Pipelines: complex workflow orchestration, parallel execution, canary releases, and automated rollbacks.

Monitoring & Observability: GCP native tools for distributed tracing, anomaly detection, and SLO/SLI management.

Security & Compliance: PCI-DSS, PCI-PIN, and PCI-P2PE, with infrastructure hardening and security scanning baked into deployment pipelines.

Databases & Caching: Cloud SQL, Firestore, Alloy DB, BigQuery, Memcached, and optimised data pipelines.

Networking & Load Balancing: Expert knowledge of GCP VPC design, Cloud Load Balancer configuration, firewall management, and hybrid cloud connectivity.

Software Development Practices: Advanced Git workflows, automated testing integration, code review processes, and understanding of software architecture patterns.
