Senior DevOps Cloud Engineer in Luxembourg Full Time ON-SITE (EU Citizens ONLY)
Location: Luxembourg, On-site
Duration: 3 YEAR/36 Months CONTRACT
Rate: 550 - 580 EURO PER DAY
Must be EU Citizens
English (C1) & French (B2)
Deadline: 10 am (UK Time) Wed, 11th March
Education Level: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology or Computer Science or Computing (EQF level 6)
TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Cloud Platforms & Modernization
Contribute to reliability and resilience of cloud platforms
Modernize Legacy applications hosted in data centres and cloud environments
Design solutions on AWS, Azure, and/or Google Cloud Platform
Develop vendor-agnostic cloud architectures
Implement monitoring using ELK, CloudWatch, OpenTelemetry or equivalent tools
Architecture & Integration
Design software architecture and integration strategies
Implement integration patterns (event-driven, publish/subscribe, request-reply)
Ensure interoperability via OpenAPI/Swagger standards
Implement Middleware solutions
Apply high availability, fault tolerance, retry mechanisms and circuit breaker patterns
Containerize applications using Docker in cloud-agnostic environments
CI/CD & Infrastructure as Code
Design and integrate CI/CD pipelines
Automate infrastructure using Terraform, Bicep or equivalent
Promote DevOps and DevSecOps best practices
Manage Git repositories and GitLab workflows
Collaborate closely with operations teams (OP DIGIT)
API & Event-Driven Systems
Design and develop REST and GraphQL APIs
Define API versioning strategies
Integrate distributed event systems (Kafka/Azure Service Bus)
Manage schema evolution and asynchronous integrations
Database & Migration
Work with Oracle and PostgreSQL databases
Design and execute database migration strategies
Optimize database performance and ensure high availability
Develop advanced SQL queries and use database management tools
Security & Compliance
Secure applications according to OWASP standards
Implement secrets and credential management solutions
Ensure licensing and compliance constraints are respected
Documentation & Communication
Document architecture and integration plans clearly
Provide knowledge transfer to internal teams
Communicate complex technical concepts effectively to stakeholders
REQUIRED SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS
Certifications:
At least one Microsoft Azure Expert-level certification
Microsoft Certified: Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps Solutions
AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (or equivalent hyperscaler certification)
