Senior Detail Designer

Due to a drive for greater success, this advanced manufacturing business is currently searching for Multiple Detail Designers to add to their talented, hardworking team in Glasgow (Hybrid working or Fully remote) on an initial 12-month contract. Striving for innovation and creativity, you can ensure no two days will be the same.

Rates:

Detail Designer: £36.23 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella
Senior Detail Designer: £41.41 per hour inside IR35 / umbrella

The role:

• Deliver design solutions in line with the design intent, ensuring consideration of through-life stakeholders (e.g., operations, commissioning, support, RN).
• Work within mandated design constraints such as design rules and acceptance requirements and manage non-adherence through the correct process.

Skills:

• Experience in a similar position is required, ideally with the following skills:
• Minimum two years Maritime / Naval industry knowledge
• 3D CAD Design Foran experience essential (at least 5 years experience for the Senior role)
• Experience in Outfit, Structures, or Electrical design (Piping requirements have been filled)
