Remuneration: £55,000 - £60,000

The role of the Senior Designer - Facades will involve:

• Design Manager position dealing with various building envelope systems such as: cladding, glazing and curtain walling

• Lead glazing design from tender through to construction, ensuring compliance with requirements and UK standards.
• Review specifications to identify risks and opportunities early.
• Align design with budget and programme in coordination with commercial, estimating, and procurement teams.
• Act as the main technical contact, managing stakeholders and approving subcontractor designs.
• Ensure timely, high-quality design delivery while supporting testing, compliance, and buildability on site.
• Working on projects that could range in value from £1m- £3m

The ideal applicant will be a Senior Designer - Facades with:

• Must have 5+ years Design experience within curtain walling, windows, rainscreen cladding, unitised façades, and/or bespoke glazing systems
• Ideally have Experience with AutoCAD and Revit
• Ideally have understanding of glazing software such as SchüCal, LogiKal and/or Techdesign
• Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
• High levels of attention to detail and organisation
• Familiar with working in a fast paced environment dealing with multiple projects at any one time
• Enthusiastic, team player, who works well individually also
