Senior Depositary Analyst Job DescriptionAs a Senior Depositary Analyst in the Depositary department, you will work with the Depositary team to conduct asset verification, cash monitoring, and compliance oversight for investment funds across private equity, real estate, infrastructure, renewable energy, forestry, and other asset classes.
You will manage a portfolio of Depositary clients and provide oversight and support to Depositary Analysts, ensuring each Client Fund or entity supplies sufficient documentation for legal title proof, that all cash transactions align with Fund operations, and that the Client complies with AIFMD requirements.
What you'll doEnsuring, by direct undertaking and by review of Depositary Analyst work:
- Each Client Fund or entity has supplied sufficient documentary evidence to prove effective legal title over the assets they claim to own.
- Managing the AIFMD reporting process, liaising with the client and internal service centres to meet deadlines.
- Taking responsibility for delegated duties and mitigating or escalating any concerns or potential risks to the Depositary Manager.
- Possessing in depth understanding of risk factors across each asset class and asset location.
- Having in depth knowledge of the legal frameworks under which assets are held.

- Required: Experience in a finance based role within a dynamic, pro active financial services environment.
- Desirable: Working knowledge of the AIFMD.
- Desirable: Experience within a Depositary function.
- Desirable: Qualified or part qualified Accountant.
- Experience working with Collective Investment Schemes, ideally private equity.
