Senior Democratic Services Lead - Hybrid Governance

Venn Group is seeking a Senior Democratic Services Officer for an East Midlands based Council. The role is hybrid with one day on site for meetings, initially a 3-month contract and a rate of £35 per hour umbrella.

You will lead the Democratic Services team operations, oversee committee and scrutiny support, manage agendas and minutes, and advise elected Members on governance processes. Strong local government knowledge and people management skills are essential.
