We're looking for a Senior Delivery Manager to lead cross-functional teams and deliver high-quality, secure and resilient digital solutions that support Cambridge University Press & Assessment's global mission. About the roleAs a Senior Delivery Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth flow of delivery from discovery through to live service. You'll work closely with Product Owners, engineering teams, and stakeholders to align priorities, manage risks, and ensure that solutions meet performance, security, and compliance standards. This role is essential to maintaining delivery predictability, operational readiness and value realisation across our Exam Technology Organisation.
Key accountabilities include:
- Leading agile delivery across multiple teams, ensuring alignment with product goals.
- Managing dependencies, risks and release governance to protect stability and quality.
- Embedding non-functional requirements (security, resilience, performance) into delivery.
- Driving continuous improvement and fostering a positive, collaborative team culture.
- Partnering with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful outcomes.
You'll bring proven experience in agile delivery leadership, with the ability to motivate and coordinate cross-functional teams across onshore and offshore models. You have strong technical awareness-enough to challenge and support design decisions and a understanding of cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP), CI/CD pipelines and modern delivery practices.
You'll also demonstrate:
- Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive approach to risk and issue management.
- A collaborative outcome-focused mindset with resilience and adaptability.
