About the job

As a Senior Data Scientist, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping our Digital Twins product, driving innovation, and implementing client-centric solutions. This position is crucial for developing innovative technology, understanding market needs, and translating them into practical applications. You will collaborate closely with your team, coding essential systems, running experiments, and testing hypotheses, all while enjoying the dynamic "skunk-works" environment!

You'll be an integral part of our team, contributing to optimising processes, leveraging new tools and algorithms, and creating visualisations to monitor key metrics! Your documentation skills will ensure that projects are well-documented and progress is tracked efficiently. This role promises a blend of creativity, teamwork, and technical expertise, making a significant impact on our company's success!

Job Goals

  • Understand and contribute to the development of the Digital Twins product.

  • Identify and implement innovative solutions based on client needs and market trends.

  • Collaborate with the team to code essential systems, run experiments, and test hypotheses.

  • Apply new tools and algorithms to optimize existing processes and enhance functionality.

  • Create visualizations to track and monitor key metrics and project progress.

  • Document projects thoroughly to ensure efficient tracking and future reference.

  • Engage in the dynamic "skunk-works" environment to continually expand knowledge and test new technologies.

Ideal Skills & Capabilities

  • Deep understanding of artificial intelligence and machine learning techniques: Proficiency in supervised/unsupervised/semi-supervised learning, neural networks, SVM, tree-based methods, and NLP.

  • Expertise in generative AI tools: Experience with prompt-engineering, fine-tuning language models, and selecting the right models for various tasks.

  • Proficiency in MLOps: Knowledge of building production applications in cloud architecture (Azure, AWS, or similar), and understanding of best practices for the full software development life cycle.

  • Strong programming skills: Proficient in Python, SQL, and conventional data science toolkits; experience with databases.

  • Innovative and proactive mindset: Ability to work independently and in smaller teams, eager to learn and master new technologies and techniques.
