The Opportunity:

The client is seeking a highly experienced and skilled Senior CDATA ARC Engineer to

provide expert guidance and hands-on support for their existing CDATA ARC solution.

The ideal candidate will possess a deep understanding of the platform's capabilities,

best practices, and architectural considerations. This role involves a combination of

strategic advisory, technical design, implementation, and operational support, with a

focus on ensuring the optimal utilization and performance of CDATA ARC within the IT landscape.

Responsibilities:

Strategic Advisory: Evaluate the current CDATA ARC implementation, identify

areas for improvement, and provide expert recommendations on best practices,

architectural design, and optimal usage of the platform.

Best Practices & Pitfalls: Advise on common pitfalls and ensure adherence to

industry best practices for CDATA ARC configuration, development, and

deployment.

Architectural Guidance: Participate in architectural discussions, providing

insights and recommendations for scaling, performance optimization, and

integration with other enterprise systems.

System Setup & Configuration: Lead or assist with the setup and configuration

of the CDATA ARC environment, ensuring stability, security, and performance.

Development & Implementation: Design, develop, and implement integration

flows, data transformations, and custom solutions within the CDATA ARC

platform.

Monitoring & Support: Assist in the design and implementation of robust

monitoring solutions for the CDATA ARC environment to proactively identify and

resolve potential issues. Provide support and troubleshooting expertise as

needed.

Knowledge Transfer: Mentor and share knowledge with the internal IT

team regarding CDATA ARC best practices and operational procedures.

Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation

related to the CDATA ARC environment, configurations, and implemented

solutions.

Qualifications & Experience:

Extensive experience (5+ years) working with CDATA ARC in a senior technical

role.

Proven ability to provide strategic advice and guidance on the optimal use of the

CDATA ARC platform.

Deep understanding of data integration principles, patterns, and best practices.

Strong experience in designing and implementing complex integration solutions

using CDATA ARC.

Proficiency in configuring and managing the CDATA ARC platform.

Hands-on development experience with CDATA ARC connectors, data

transformations, and scripting capabilities.

Experience with setting up monitoring and alerting for integration platforms.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and troubleshooting skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively

communicate technical concepts to both technical and non-technical

stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Fluency in English is essential. Dutch language skills are a plus.

Practical Considerations:

Availability: Full-time preferred, but candidates available for 2-3 days per week

will also be considered.

Duration: Initial contract of 3-6 months, with the possibility of extension into a

long-term assignment.

Location: Onsite presence in Genk for 2-3 days per week is required.
