Senior Data Engineer - Informatica Cloud & Azure Platform:

For one of our globally leading tech clients we are urgently looking for an experienced Senior Data Engineer - Informatica Cloud & Azure Platform for a long contract based in Amsterdam.

Essential Skills & Qualifications:

• Experience in data engineering and integration.
• Hands-on experience with:
• Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) - mandatory.
• Azure Data Factory (ADF)
• Microsoft Azure (IaaS/PaaS)
• SQL / PL SQL
• IDMC Certification - must have.
• Proven experience in data integration, ETL/ELT pipelines, and cloud data platforms.
• Ability to manage and mentor a small team; experience as an onsite coordinator is preferred.
• Excellent problem-solving, communication, and analytical skills.
• Fluent in English; knowledge of Dutch is a plus.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead the design, development, and deployment of Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) solutions.
• Develop robust and scalable ETL/ELT data pipelines using Azure Data Factory (ADF) and SQL/PL SQL.
• Collaborate with business analysts, stakeholders, and data engineers to understand requirements and deliver technical solutions.
• Act as an on-site coordinator between offshore and onshore teams; manage a small development team.
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and best practices in data engineering and integration.
• Administer and monitor the Azure infrastructure, ensuring secure, scalable, and optimized environments.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to ETL pipelines, data load failures, and performance tuning.
• Document technical designs, processes, and best practices for internal teams and external stakeholders.
• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies and contribute to sprint planning and retrospectives.
