Senior Cybersecurity Engineer

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Security Engineer to join a growing cybersecurity team in a senior, hands on role focused on cloud security, security engineering, and security operations. This role can be remote in Ireland with travel to Kerry HQ one to two times per month.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement security controls across Microsoft Azure environments
• Develop and maintain secure cloud infrastructure using Terraform
• Lead threat detection, incident response, and vulnerability management activities
• Enhance SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IAM capabilities using tools such as Microsoft Sentinel, Microsoft Defender, and Cortex/XSIAM
• Collaborate with cloud, infrastructure, and DevOps teams to embed security best practices
• Mentor team members and contribute to security architecture and threat modelling initiatives

Requirements

• 7+ years' experience in Cybersecurity, Cloud Security, or Security Engineering
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure security
• Hands on experience with Terraform and Infrastructure as Code
• Experience with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, and IAM technologies
• Scripting experience with Python and/or PowerShell
• Strong understanding of security frameworks and modern threat landscapes
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills

Desirable

• Azure security certifications (SC-100, SC-200, SC-300, AZ-500) or equivalent
• CISSP, CCSP, CCSK, CISM, or similar certifications
• Experience with AWS or GCP security environments
