Senior Credit Analyst, New Verticals

Your Role at a Glance

• Analyse financial & non-financial data of new and existing customers to gain an understanding of their business
• Understand and quantify the risks involved in running an eCommerce business and in Wayflyer providing funding to such a business
• Support and help co ordinate regular calls with our customers to enhance our understanding of their business and funding requirements
• Work closely with management to build and implement new processes and products
• Support our sales and operations teams by understanding how they win and manage relationships with customers
• Learn about our existing loan portfolio, our portfolio management tools, and knowing when to exit risky relationships
• Work with various departments and colleagues across the business

What Makes You a Great Fit

• 3+ years of relevant work experience (ideally in a finance related role, but not required)
• You can demonstrate a consistent and strong academic record
• You have an interest in credit risk analysis and portfolio management
• You've completed an undergraduate degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Engineering, Law or Computer Science
• You can analyse and understand financial reporting (e.g. management accounts / financial models) presented by companies
• Comfortable leading regular internal and external (client) meetings and presenting findings and recommendations to senior stakeholders
• You are commercial in nature, quantitatively inclined and can juggle risk mitigation with growth

How You'll Stand Out

• ACA, ACCA, CFA or CIMA qualification
• Studying toward or intending to study toward a professional accounting/finance qualification
• Experience in MS Excel and/or SQL

Location Global Offices and Working Policy Dublin, Our Buzzing HQ

Our headquarters operates a hybrid model; the number of in office days depends on the team, but most teams and the senior leadership team are typically in 3 4 days per week, providing valuable exposure to senior leadership.

London, One Big Family

Home to around 30 employees, our brand new London office also runs on a hybrid model. The CEO often works alongside the team and makes regular visits.

Sydney, Small but Mighty

Our close knit Sydney office has around 20 employees and follows a flexible hybrid model, fostering strong collaboration.

Charlotte, Our New US Hub

Charlotte is our US headquarters and the foundation of our North American growth. From our Uptown office, our teams collaborate closely, build relationships and drive impact across the region, with a setup designed for both focus and flexibility.

Remote Across the US & Europe

The majority of our Tech organisation works remotely across the UK and Europe, coming together throughout the year for off sites, company kick offs and technical kick offs. We also have a growing number of remote team members across the US.
