Senior CPQ Transformation Consultant (Freelance)

Overview:

We are looking for a Senior CPQ Transformation Consultant with strong multi-system CPQ experience and solid end-to-end process understanding. You will support a large transformation program involving multiple departments, helping harmonize CPQ, engineering/PLM, and SAP processes into one unified operating model. This role requires someone confident working across business and technical teams, able to translate complex workflows into clear, scalable solutions.

Responsibilities:

• Lead analysis and design of end-to-end CPQ processes across multiple CPQ platforms.
• Align top-down business and financial targets with bottom-up operational workflows.
• Map and optimize process flow from Sales - CPQ - Engineering/PLM - SAP.
• Collaborate with engineering teams on PLM integrations.
• Support harmonization of processes across factories and departments.
• Define pricing logic, configuration rules, naming conventions, and cost model impacts.
• Run workshops with stakeholders from Sales, Engineering, Legal, SCM, Planning, etc.
• Document requirements, integrations, and architectural recommendations.
• Engage with senior stakeholders across multiple European locations.

Requirements:

Must-Haves:

• Solid experience in CPQ as a Senior Business Analyst, Architect or similar.
• Experience with multiple CPQ systems (eg, Salesforce CPQ, Camos, Powershop, or similar).
• Strong understanding of end-to-end CPQ, including configuration rules and pricing logic.
• Proven experience integrating CPQ with engineering/PLM tools and SAP.
• Ability to work with diverse stakeholders and navigate complex cross-functional environments.
• Fluent in English.

Soft Skills:

• Strong communicator, structured, analytical.
• Confident working with both business and technical teams.
• Able to lead workshops and clarify requirements in complex environments.
