Key Requirements

We are seeking a high caliber professional capable of leading significant projects and mentoring a growing team.

• Professional Status: MRICS Chartered status is preferred.

• Education: A Degree in Quantity Surveying or Commercial Management.

• Experience: Minimum of 10+ years of post qualification experience within a UK Cost Consultancy.

• Sector Expertise: Proven experience across Commercial, Mixed Use, Residential, Leisure, Entertainment, Retail, and Education sectors.

• Technical Proficiency: Expert in cost management software CostX etc and advanced proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite.

• Leadership: Demonstrable ability to manage complex budgets, lead project teams, and act as an APC Supervisor for junior staff.

• Compliance & Travel: A full, clean UK driving licence is required as site visits are a key component of this role.

• Right to Work: Candidates must possess a current, valid right to work in the UK. Sponsorship is not available for this role.

Role Responsibilities

As an Associate Director, you will be a senior leader within the practice:

• Project Leadership: Oversee the full project lifecycle from inception to completion.

• Commercial Management: Lead tender documentation, take offs, feasibility studies, cost plans, and cash flow management.

• Risk & Quality: Manage project risk, communicate mitigation strategies, and ensure delivery against the Quality Plan.

• Team Development: Lead, mentor, and support junior Quantity Surveyors; act as an APC mentor.

• Client Strategy: Cultivate and expand client relationships and contribute to the overall strategic growth of the firm's Quantity Surveying service line.

• Basic Salary: 65,000 - 85,000 GBP (Negotiable).
