Job Description

Location: Stoke-on-Trent Hybrid Working
Salary: £55,000+

The Opportunity An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Conveyancing Fee Earner to join a well-established and highly regarded law firm in Staffordshire.

This is an ideal role for someone who enjoys handling an interesting and varied caseload rather than working in a high-volume, target-driven environment. The work is more bespoke in nature, offering the opportunity to deal with a range of residential property transactions, including a fair proportion of new-build matters.

The firm prides itself on its friendly, supportive working environment and commitment to delivering a high-quality service to its clients. With a flexible approach to working arrangements and a genuinely positive team culture, this is an opportunity to join a firm where people enjoy what they do.

The Role You will handle a varied residential conveyancing caseload, managing transactions from instruction through to completion while providing a high standard of client care.

The work will include a range of residential property transactions, with exposure to new-build matters alongside other bespoke and interesting files. You will have the opportunity to use your technical expertise, take ownership of your matters and build strong relationships with clients.

Responsibilities will include managing purchases, sales and other residential property transactions, dealing with title issues and enquiries, progressing files efficiently, and ensuring compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements.

Requirements The successful candidate will have solid experience handling residential conveyancing matters independently and be confident managing a varied caseload.

You will have strong technical knowledge, excellent communication skills and a client-focused approach, with the ability to handle transactions efficiently without compromising on quality.

Experience with new-build conveyancing would be advantageous. The firm is looking for someone who takes pride in their work and wants to be part of a collaborative, supportive team.

Benefits:

  • Salary: Commensurate with experience.
  • Hybrid working: Typically 2-3 days in the office, with considerable flexibility.
  • Annual leave: Very generous - 28 days plus bank holidays.
  • Bonus: Discretionary bonus scheme.
  • Working environment: A friendly, supportive team with a positive culture.
  • Quality of work: A varied, bespoke caseload rather than a volume-driven approach.

About the Firm Our client is an established regional law firm with a strong reputation for providing high-quality legal advice and building lasting relationships with its clients.

The firm offers a broad range of legal services and prides itself on its technical expertise, approachable culture and commitment to client care. Its residential property team handles a variety of transactions, including sales, purchases, leasehold matters and new-build properties.

This is an opportunity to join a supportive and collaborative environment where quality of work is prioritised over volume, and where flexibility and employee wellbeing are valued.
