What the role covers

A senior contracts appointment on an infrastructure portfolio in Dublin, running the pre contract and post contract requirements of framework agreements and the work orders called off under them.

Before award the holder works with the contracting entity's procurement and legal team and supports programme directors on engaging contractors and consultants under the entity's own procedures and procurement strategy, reviews draft contracts for fitness and tailoring, coordinates legal, technical and financial advisers, and leads contractual negotiations, advising the project or services manager and the programme director.

After award the holder administers work orders from award through to completion, take-over of the works and final assessment, supports the review and acceptance of subcontractors and their documents, and monitors contractor and consultant performance against the agreed key performance indicators, contributing to the management of any disputes.
