Job Description

This role involves working across both commercial and delivery activities. You will shape solutions, guide clients, and help grow Perform Partners through excellent work and strong relationships. Your expertise will assist clients in achieving their goals.

This role is suitable for someone confident working independently but also collaborative when needed.

SFIA Level 5 - Ensure and Advise
This is a SFIA responsibility Level 5 role. You will work under broad direction, take ownership of your tasks, and provide expert guidance. You will be trusted to deliver outcomes and support others in doing the same.


What You'll Be Doing

  1. Working closely with potential clients to understand their needs and develop effective solutions.
  2. Supporting commercial efforts, including scoping work and shaping pricing.
  3. Applying your technical expertise to guide clients and colleagues.
  4. Leading delivery for client engagements-offering advice, designing solutions, and executing tasks.

What We're Looking For

  • Strong DevOps experience with a transition into architecture, eager to develop further and hands-on with DevOps when necessary.
  • Deep understanding of engineering practices - knowing what good looks like and how to deliver it.
  • Ability to lead a DevOps team from a start-up environment.
  • At least 2 years of experience in an architecture role.
  • Solid knowledge of AWS, ideally with hands-on experience.
  • Good knowledge of other Cloud platforms (Azure, GCP, VMware, Nutanix, etc.).

• Ideally, be an AWS Certified Solutions Architect at Associate or Professional level.
• Some experience with pricing, scoping, and commercial models.
• Previous consultancy experience is advantageous but not essential.

What the Recruitment Process Involves

  • CV review.
  • First stage: a 30-minute Teams call with the Head of Consultancy and a Principal Consultant.
  • Second stage: an in-person interview in Horsforth, including preparation of a 100-day plan and a task provided on the day.
  • A final interview may be conducted if multiple candidates are suitable.
