Job Description
Are you an experienced consultant with a strong background in workforce transformation, organisational development, or skills planning?

Element Recruitment are working for aSenior Consultant to join a leading public sector consultancy based in Bristol on a permanent basis. In this role you will lead the successful delivery of client assignments, provide strategic guidance and contribute to the ongoing development of workforce-related programmes as well as supporting on complex projects that improve service delivery through better people planning and development.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead end-to-end delivery of consultancy assignments, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to a high standard

  • Provide subject matter expertise in workforce development, organisational change, or project/programme management

  • Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor

  • Manage project teams, subcontractors or associates as required

  • Contribute to business development activities, including proposal writing and tender submissions

  • Monitor project impact, gather evaluation data, and apply lessons learned for continuous improvement

  • Provide mentoring or line management to junior team members when required

About You

To thrive in this role, you will bring:

  • Proven consultancy experience within the public sector

  • Deep understanding of workforce planning, people strategy or skills development

  • Strong project management skills and experience leading multiple client assignments

  • Excellent stakeholder management and facilitation abilities

  • The confidence to advise senior leaders and influence strategic decisions

  • A flexible, proactive approach and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
