Senior Consultant / Manager - Retail Energy

A client in the energy sector is seeking a Senior Consultant to join the team for an eight-week engagement.

You will help design a high-level retail energy operating model aligned to a modern SaaS platform, working closely with internal consultants and client stakeholders. The role focuses on shaping a future-state operating model and delivering high-quality documentation that complements a technology proposition.

• Lead or support discovery activities, including current-state assessment and future-state visioning
• Design end-to-end retail energy operating models aligned to SaaS platform capabilities
• Define core components such as customer service models, contact centre design and back-office processes
• Specify roles, responsibilities and interaction models across customer and operational functions
• Apply sector insight to ensure the model reflects energy retail regulatory and operational constraints

• Experience designing retail energy operating models, ideally aligned to SaaS or digital platform capabilities
• Strong background in operating model discovery, future-state design and process definition
• Familiarity with customer operations, back-office functions and energy retail industry processes

• Start date: March 2nd 2026
• Duration: 2 months
• Day rate: Up to £500, depending on experience
• Location: Remote with occasional travel to East Midlands
