About the role

Join Ipsos Karian and Box - a focused community of employee experience experts - as a Senior Consultant delivering employee listening strategies and narrative led insights to some of the world's most ambitious organisations. You'll own a portfolio of clients (many FTSE100), design best practice research and translate data into actionable strategic advice that influences purchasing and people decisions. Day to day you'll shape client programmes, lead multidisciplinary project teams (data scientists, analysts, designers, project managers), and contribute to product development and new business pitches. This role combines hands on research design and advisory work with account leadership: you'll act as an Account Director for your clients, drive commercial growth, secure client delight and help evolve our employee listening proposition. You'll be part of a fast moving, supportive team that offers boutique agility with Ipsos's global scale and an inclusive, employee first culture.

Qualifications
  • Advanced degree (e.g., Occupational Psychology or related) or equivalent experience in employee research and organisational culture.
  • Proven track record designing and running employee listening programmes and crafting evidence based business narratives.
  • Strong client management and commercial experience - able to build trusted relationships, influence buying decisions and act as account lead.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, comfortable influencing to C suite level.
  • Good grasp of data and understanding of common analytical techniques.
  • Proficiency in AI use and adoption to streamline analysis, synthesis and client deliverables.
  • Collaborative, self starting and resilient - able to lead diverse teams and work effectively across internal stakeholders.
Essential skills
  • Advanced degree in Occupational Psychology or a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Demonstrable experience in employee experience, leadership or organisational culture research.
  • Strong research design skills for quantitative and qualitative employee listening programmes.
  • Exceptional problem solver through both tactical and strategic lenses.
  • Ability to use data and insights to craft compelling strategic proposals and business narratives.
  • Experience managing client relationships and driving sustainable account growth.
  • Familiarity with employee listening platforms and analytics (e.g., Qualtrics, Perceptyx) and comfort working with data science teams.
  • Proficiency in AI tools to enhance efficiency and insight generation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Commercial mindset with experience contributing to new business bids and pitches.
  • Experience leading multidisciplinary teams (insight analysts, data scientists, designers, project managers).
  • Knowledge of CRM and client management systems.
  • Prior experience designing listening strategy and programme evolution.
  • Track record of product or proposition development within employee experience consulting.
  • Experience working across global or matrixed organisations.
  • Familiarity with methodological approaches such as sampling design, regression modelling and segmentation.
