The role

Arena International Healthcare events part of GlobalData Plc produces 25+ market leading international conferences, 100 webinars/digital meetings & private networking events annually across the Healthcare sector (Clinical Trials, Clinical Supply, Rare Diseases, Data Management) with an ambitious plan for continued accelerated growth.

We are looking for a Senior Conference Producer to lead the research, development and delivery from conception right up to programme management, cutting-edge conference programmes that speak directly to the needs of our audience. From building agendas, researching and briefing speakers to leading industry c-suite advisory boards you will play a key role in growing and scaling our global reach.

What you'll be doing
  • Produce and deliver 4-6 international conferences each year (single and multi-track)
  • Research, design and deliver innovative conference programmes with top-tier speakers and engaging formats
  • Identify opportunities for new launches and creative angles in response to market developments
  • Originate compelling commercial value propositions for each event
  • Develop and deliver a 2 year growth plan per event
  • Collaborate with internal teams (R&A, Consultants, Editorial, Sales, Marketing, Operations) to ensure seamless project delivery end to end
  • Present confidently to senior stakeholders and maintain strong external client relationships and partnerships
  • Attend and represent the organisation at all events and relevant industry gatherings
What we're looking for
  • 4+ years of B2B conference production experience (preferably within Healthcare/LifeSciences but not essential) with a proven track record of delivering successful, commercially profitable events
  • Confident, innovative and proactive - with a passion for building industry knowledge
  • Highly organised, deadline-driven and able to juggle multiple projects
  • Exceptional research skills, agenda writing, speaker acquisition and event project management experience
  • Experience of producing and growing annual events as well as launching new events
  • Strong commercial acumen and growth mindset with the ability to spot gaps in the market for new products
  • First class communicator with gravitas and influence able to gain credibility and trust at senior levels both internally and externally.
  • At least 18 months experience in managing junior producers.
  • Willing and able to work flexible hours as well as travel/deliver events internationally overseas including USA, Europe, APAC, UK
