Senior Compliance Consultant - MiCA Regulatory Implementation

Overview:

With MiCA deadlines fast approaching, our team is deploying high-impact compliance consultants across Europe to lead critical implementation work with a few key clients in the Tradfi and Crypto space.

Core Responsibilities:

• Lead or advise on MiCA gap assessments, implementation roadmaps, and readiness programmes
• Draft and operationalise compliance frameworks aligned to MiCA obligations
• Act as interim Head of Compliance or SME during transitional phases
• Liaise with regulatory authorities where needed
• Collaborate with Legal, Risk, and Product teams to ensure cross-functional compliance
• Provide training or internal guidance to compliance and product teams

Requirements:

• Proven experience delivering regulatory change programmes within financial services
• Direct experience with MiCA compliance efforts (e.g. policy authoring, licensing, governance implementation)
• Strong knowledge of crypto-asset markets, custody solutions, and VASP operations
• Experience with EU regulatory frameworks such as MiFID II, AMLD5/6, DORA is a plus
• Ability to work independently in high-urgency, ambiguous environments
• Fluent in English; additional EU languages preferred
