Senior Compensation Specialist London £100,000 + Extensive Package

Loom Talent are supporting a global ecommerce/distribution organisation who are looking for a Senior Compensation Specialist to join them on a permanent basis alongside their Benefits counterpart.

This is a key hire within the wider HR function, focused on designing and delivering competitive compensation frameworks that support business growth, reward performance and ensure the organisation remains competitive within the market.

The role will suit an experienced compensation professional who enjoys working with data, shaping reward structures and partnering with senior stakeholders to influence strategic decisions.

The Role:

  • Lead the development and refinement of compensation frameworks, ensuring salary structures and reward programmes remain competitive, equitable and aligned with wider business objectives.
  • Design and implement performance-based incentive schemes, including bonus and long-term incentive programmes.
  • Work closely with leadership and finance teams to support annual compensation planning, budgeting and cost management.
  • Analyse compensation data and market benchmarks, providing clear insights and recommendations to support the reward strategy.
  • Monitor payroll and benefits expenditure, identifying trends and opportunities to improve cost efficiency and overall reward effectiveness.
  • Support the ongoing development of compensation systems and processes, helping to streamline reporting and enhance operational efficiency.

Who they are looking for

  • Proven experience within a compensation focussed role, with time in both a consultancy and in-house role
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret compensation data and translate insights into practical recommendations.
  • Experience designing or managing incentive programmes and salary frameworks.
  • Comfortable working with senior stakeholders and advising on compensation strategy.
  • Experience within a complex, international or fast-growing organisation would be advantageous.
  • Sector experience from a similar industry within tech, ecommerce, distribution, logistics etc
