Senior Compensation Specialist

An internationally renowned company, leader in its sector, is looking to strengthen its Compensation function by hiring a highly analytical and detail-oriented Compensation Specialist to join its corporate HR Southern Europe team in Madrid.
This role plays a key part in the ongoing analysis, design, and implementation of compensation structures and incentive schemes, as well as providing support in maintaining the company's organizational structure.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the analysis and calculation of incentive plans, including issue resolution, cross-functional coordination, and continuous improvement proposals.
- Collaborate on the design and maintenance of compensation policies and salary structures in line with job architecture and internal equity.
- Analyze salary proposals for internal promotions or external hires, ensuring consistency and fairness across the organization.
- Assist in maintaining the organizational structure and job mapping database.
- Support the evaluation and classification of roles, contributing to job architecture and internal benchmarking projects.
What We're Looking For
- Education: University degree in Business Administration, Economics, or related fields. Specialized training in Compensation or HR Analytics is highly valued.
- Experience: 5 years of experience in a C&B department or in HR consultancy focused on C&B and organizational projects.
- Technical skills:
- Strong analytical ability and advanced use of Excel.
- Familiarity with data analytics tools such as Power BI, Python, or R.
- Knowledge of Workday is a plus.
- Solid understanding of payroll components, compensation packages, collective agreements, and social security.
